47th Annual Paavo Nurmi Marathon
Wisconsin’s longest running marathon, the Paavo Nurmi Marathon is known for the course that runs through forests and fields, along rivers and lakes, numerous hills and elevation changes and passing a cemetery or two! Beginning in the quiet village of Upson, Wisconsin on the 2nd Saturday of August for the past 45 years and ending on Hurley’s famous Silver Street participants are greeted and encouraged along the way by hundreds of volunteers.
Full marathon and relays begin in Upson, Wisconsin at 7:30 am, finishing on Silver Street in Hurley. Half marathon begins in Gile, Wisconsin at 8:30am.
Registration fees include runners packet, one FREE beer to each participant 21 and over at Finish Line and runners t-shirt.
Registration and Packet Pickup: Friday, August 7,2015 3pm – 6 pm.
Packet Pickup: Saturday, August 8, 2015 5am – 6:30am. Kids Race: Friday, August 7, 2015; 6:00 pm
